Hey family! These are some workout routines u can begin your journey with:
- 1. Morning Fasted Jog: Set your alarm, lace up, and hit a steady 15-minute morning jog to kickstart your metabolism.
- 2. Evening Wind-Down Run: Clear your mind after a long day of work or classes with a smooth, moderate-paced evening run.
- 3. The 5-Minute Warmup: Always prepare your body! Do 1 minute each of jumping jacks, high knees, butt kicks, arm circles, and bodyweight squats.
- 4. Couch-to-5K Baseline: Alternating between 1 minute of jogging and 1 minute of walking for 20 minutes total—perfect for beginners.
- 5. Core Crusher: 3 rounds of a 30-second plank, 15 bicycle crunches, and 15 leg raises to build solid core stability.
- 6. Lower Body Burner: 3 sets of 15 bodyweight squats, 12 lunges (each leg), and 15 glute bridges to strengthen your running muscles.
- 7. The “No Equipment” Full Body: 3 rounds of 10 push-ups, 15 squats, 10 jumping lunges, and a 45-second wall sit.
- 8. Speed Endurance Intervals: Sprint hard for 30 seconds, walk for 60 seconds. Repeat 8 times to rapidly build up your stamina.
- 9. HIIT Power Blast: 40 seconds of maximum effort jumping jacks, 20 seconds rest, followed by 40 seconds of mountain climbers. Repeat for 5 rounds.
- 10. Post-Run Deep Stretch: Don’t skip the recovery! Spend 5 minutes stretching your calves, hamstrings, quads, and hip flexors to keep your body feeling great for the next day.
